Hearing scuttering in the vents, scratching on walls, distant growls. Honestly, sometimes I feel that is all these games are missing for me. akin to that of the Xenomorph in Alien: Isolation. What I would like to see, and I am sure many of you would agree, is if Dead Space 4 comes to fruition that there be A.I. Single File? Necromorphs aren't Sandpeople. There seems to be little strategy - albeit scripted - in their placement. So many times Necromorphs seem to funnel en mass down a hallway. My main issue with Dead Space 3 lies with enemy placement. Having to spin around and around to catch a glimpse of an oncoming attack. Largely due to the brilliant sound design and disorientation caused by that design not knowing exactly where they were. While on repeated playthroughs of the first two I can call back memories of times when enemies would pop out in this room or that but at least there was a sense of panic that differs from the third entry. I believe this may be the case with most of us here.
